Annette has extensive experience bringing old clothing back to life. If you have an antique dress or other article of clothing, she can restore the garment for use today. She can also incorporate all or part of it into your wedding gown (or other clothing) for a very unique and special look.

Below are a small sample of Annette's restoration projects. Her work has been featured in many museums throughout New England as well as at the elegant Hildene Mansion.

The brown silk taffeta gown needed extensive restoration. All of the flouncing, pleating and fringe were falling off the gown. It was so wrinkled from storage in a trunk, that it was difficult to know what it really looked like. Hours too numerous to count were needed to take all the embellishments off, steam everything and hand stitch everything on the gown. The silk was in very good condition even though all of the inner lining had fallen out. A reception gown and a tea gown circa 1875 were also part of the trousseau.
